Started in 2012, school rural-visit itineraries include exposure to village life and livelihoods, nature orientation walks and talks, and outdoor living in tented accommodation. Today more than forty schools from Bijnor, Meerut and adjoining cities are associated with Vishokanand. These schools also actively support activities of Vishokanand. Nature camps are designed to bring school children in close contact with Nature, learn local history, and observe occupational skills and crafts, and lifestyles. 700 school students from 25 schools made group visits to Vishokanand and local villages as part of school exposure visit programme on rural life and nature education.
